Why Use AIS?

Company Background

As an Australian-owned company in local hands, AIS is flexible in its management style, it provides the best advice, infrastructure recommendations and service to suit local conditions and does not have to defer to bigger overseas company structures, as some of its competitors are required to do.

AIS further liaises and has working relationships with some of Australia's most experienced architectural and interior design consultants, specialising in efficient physical-space and ergonomic design for security infrastructure and control room efficiency and management.

AIS is happy to provide services from within its own resources, but more importantly, is experienced enough to know when clients would benefit from the services of the best multi-disciplinary security consultancy team Australia can muster.

AIS's Directors began their careers with the highly regarded South Australian Public Buildings Department, at a time when the PBD ran most government infrastructure in South Australia.

It was during this time that the Directors learnt the discipline of documentation, rigorous ‘without fear or favour’ product evaluation, and the complex trade of wiring and installation of security surveillance and other devices critical within high-dependency

structures such as gaols, remand centres, police centres and courts. The need to install and maintain security in environments where surveillance cannot be taken 'off-line' is a skill that AIS Directors have successfully addressed.

Most importantly, AIS has learnt the secrets of ‘open infrastructure’ planning and installation, a means by which problems or failures within security-critical environments can be identified quickly - and remedied for the most part, by contract or 'in-house' maintenance personnel, who, beyond their trade training, may not have highly specialist skills.

Since its beginnings in 1998, AIS’ reputation has grown as it has successfully serviced organisations with highly complex security requirements.

Importantly, the company’s directors play a major part in each project the company is contracted for, applying their combined years of knowledge in advice and planning and in maintaining the quality of the company’s workmanship.  In an industry increasingly demanding more and more accountability and detailed knowledge and skills, AIS is not a company left to the vagaries of directionless middle-management.

Australian Integrated Security’s philosophy is to maintain a commitment to deliver service of the highest quality and standards.  This objective is to be achieved through a strategy of continuous improvements with a balanced focus on customers.
